Secure Mail Message Attachments

Local desktop documents can be attached to secure mail or patient documents from the HIE system.

Attaching local desktop document is exactly like your regular email system.  Selecting the Add Local Attachment link on the email message browses your local computer.  Select the file, select Open, and the file is attached.  To add another file, select the Add another file link.  

A patient document in the local node can be attached by

  • Selecting the Add Patient Attachments link.  
  • Add the patient local MRN or patient complete name, select search.

  • A check list of available documents will be displayed.  
  • Check the documents to be attached.

Check Documents to Attach

  • Once your message is completed, select the Send button at the bottom of the message.
